Technology The Canalyzer Rave is our lowest cost and most popular inspector in our family of dud detectors. This small, compact unit is a top only detector that can inspect product at high rates of speed. This unit is capable of inspecting any type of can end from steel to aluminum to membrane. The standard RAVE will inspect cans from 202 to 404 diameter with another version designed for 404 to 603 diameter. In addition to cans, the RAVE is also well suited for inspection of pop-top bottles and jars. The RAVE mounts directly to the conveyor and in many cases, requires no floor support making it ideal for elevated canning lines.

Control The control head and electronics on the standard Canalyzer RAVE are mounted directly to the rear of the unit creating a very compact and space saving configuration. For installations that have elevated lines or have minimal access to the equipment, a remote control head can be ordered as an option. The remote control head comes with either a wall mount or a pedestal depending on customer requirements. The eject is modular allowing it to be mounted either to the conveyor or to the RAVE directly. This allows for numerous conveyor configurations. The RAVE comes equipped with our precision XY caliper which makes possible quick, easy, and precise adjustments and fast changeover times between can sizes.
