Technology
The Canalyzer KLI brings a new approach to label inspection.
The KLI integrates with any existing rotary labeler; the only component
that uses any conveyor space is the eject mechanism. The male KLI unit
mounts directly inside the labeler's enclosure and makes efficient use of
available space. The KLI makes use of several proven sensing technologies
to inspect cans for label defects. The KLI will detect glue problems that
cause flapping and dog eared labels. Label presence, skew, and looseness
are also inspected for. With the addition of a barcode module, the KLI
will also read the barcode on every can to insure the proper label is being applied.

Control
The controls for the KLI mount to the labeler near the existing labeler
control. This allows the operator to be able to easily run both machines.
The KLI is easy to setup and can be quickly changed over between different
style and size containers. The KLI controls have many built in training
functions that eliminate the need for constant adjustment.
