The keypad works by making a connection between 2 of the 8 pins on the connector.
The Canalyzer CPU detects these connections and interprets it as a certain key press.
To test the operation of your keypad, place the leads of a meter set to test continuity
on the appropriate pins and press the key you wish to test. You should see an indication
on the meter of a change in continuity if the key is working properly.
